  • Recently, Ronald F. Wittmeyer received the Excellence in Public Service Award for his leadership in the development of the Legal Self Help Center at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse from the Northwest Suburban Bar Association (NWSBA). The center does not give legal advice nor represent people in court, but does provide legal information and offers help in completing legal forms to assist pro se litigants in representing themselves. In addition to benefiting those individuals who visit the center, we hope the legal self-help center will in some small way contribute to the efficient administration of justice at the Rolling Meadows courthouse. From the beginning, we saw this as an opportunity to use the Association’s resources to provide a much-needed public service. The Center provides another way for us to give back to the citizens of the communities in which our members live and work.” With its success, Mr. Wittmeyer hopes that the center will be able to help more visitors to the courthouse navigate the Cook County judicial system.
  • Mr. Wittmeyer is also Board Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (accredited by the American Bar Association). This is the ultimate stamp of competency, qualifications, and professionalism. Certification is granted only after years of trial practice, recommendations from trial judges and fellow attorneys, successful completion of examinations, and demonstrations of professionalism.
  • Ronald Wittmeyer received the Illinois Super Lawyers Award in 2007. This prestigious award is given to attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Dear Friends and Clients of The Law Offices of R.F Wittmeyer, Ltd.:

We want to assure you that during this time of international emergency due to the COVID-19 virus, our law firm is continuing to serve the needs of our clients and of our community.  Our office remains open for business, but is staffed by just a few of us. To protect the safety of our employees, most of us are working remotely.

The courts, for civil matters, are essentially closed at this point.  Most of the local court systems have issued emergency orders continuing all civil cases for 30 days.  We are using this time to continue to prepare your cases for settlement or trial.

Do not hesitate to call us or email us with your questions or concerns, or if you would like to discuss a new case, as we remain available to address your needs.

We hope that each of you and your families stay safe and healthy during this unprecedented challenge.

Yours Sincerely,

Ronald F. Wittmeyer, Jr.
