Reaction Statement:
When I received the email about winning the 2024 R.F. Wittmeyer Community Service Scholarship, I was sitting in my calculus class, trying to stay focused. The moment I saw the subject line, my heart skipped a beat. I wanted to jump up and scream, but being in the middle of a lecture, I had to contain my excitement. Instead, I quickly texted everyone I could think of, starting with my parents, “I GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP!!” It was so hard to sit still, knowing how much this means to me. I’m incredibly honored that the scholarship committee believes in my potential, and this award will greatly help as I pursue my studies in Finance and Business Analytics. I’m beyond grateful and excited for what lies ahead!
