️ Your Favorite Restaurants Contest: A Love Affair of the Heart and the Stomach
In late March, as the pandemic impacted us all, the Law Offices of RF Wittmeyer Ltd. launched two companion contests to support the struggling restaurant industry in our hometown and local Hispanic communities.
For ten weeks, we asked you to nominate your favorite Arlington Heights restaurants. Each week, we held a drawing and donated a $100 gift card to one lucky participant.
As the campaign gained momentum, we extended it to our Hispanic community — many of whom we proudly serve — to help spotlight even more small, local restaurants.
Your nominations were heartfelt, describing personal connections to restaurant owners and staff, favorite dishes, and memorable moments with family and friends. One participant described their experience as simply “a little piece of happy.”

Meet Colby Costa:
2019/20 RF Wittmeyer Community Service Scholarship Recipient
Attorney Wittmeyer recently connected with Colby Costa — our 2019/20 scholarship recipient — via Zoom. Colby stood out for his academic and athletic dedication, but most importantly, his leadership in community service.
Colby organized a 5K race for the Wounded Warrior Project — all while recovering from a serious leg injury sustained during his high school Homecoming football game. His determination and pivot in career goals reflect true resilience.
No One Should Go Cold This Winter – Here’s How You Can Help
We’re proud to partner once again with One Warm Coat to collect clean coats and jackets for those in need — running through December 18.
Donations can be dropped off at our contactless box outside our Arlington Heights office.
This year’s coats will benefit:
-
PATH (Palatine Assisting Through Hope)
-
Journeys: The Road Home
Prefer to give online? You can also make monetary donations via the link below. Thanks to your generosity last year, we donated 85 coats!
Expanding Our Services to Elgin
To Better Serve the Western Chicagoland Suburbs
“We’re thrilled to open our newest office in Elgin, IL. This expansion allows us to better serve the western suburbs and our growing Hispanic clientele — led by Spanish-speaking attorney Cindy Scolaro and paralegal Marisela Nevarez.”
— Ron Wittmeyer, Managing Attorney
We’ll also be joining the Elgin Chamber of Commerce as we integrate into the community, explore the area, and support local businesses and cultural events.
