Case Manager
Ivette Chacon brings a strong background in both legal support and client care to the Law Offices of R.F. Wittmeyer, Ltd. Born and raised in Chicago to Costa Rican parents, she is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about helping clients feel informed and supported throughout their cases.
Before joining the firm, Ivette worked in a nonprofit legal aid organization, where she assisted clients with estate planning, guardianships, uncontested divorces, and real estate matters. She also managed legal clinics serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans. Her experience later expanded into auto claims with Progressive Insurance, giving her valuable insight into the claims process from both sides.
Ivette holds an Associate’s degree and Paralegal Studies Certificate from Wright College—where she served as President of the Paralegal Program—and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences along with a second Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University.
Outside of work, Ivette enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new cuisines, and traveling to warm destinations. At home, she loves relaxing with her husband, their son, and their cat—often with a good pizza and a movie night.
