This year our firm sponsored 11 runners/walkers in the Arlington Heights Rotary Club’s annual Santa Run in downtown Arlington Heights on Saturday December 3, 2022. The event is a fundraiser, sponsored by our local Rotary Club, which supports the Club’s community grants program. The Arlington Heights Rotary Club has donated over $300,000 to worthy causes in Arlington Heights and neighboring communities as a result of the Santa Run. The “run for a cause as a Claus” logged more than 1400 participants this year. And, our group was treated to a fabulous after-race brunch by one of our firm’s paralegals, Denise Rabe, and her husband, Brian – and the Rabe’s know how to host a party . The annual event was held this year on Saturday, December 3, 2022, which was a chilly, but sunny day in beautiful downtown Arlington Heights. The event included a reindeer dash (kids 10 and under), a 1 mile walk, and a 5k run. The entry fee included a Santa suit (beard included) as well as a goodie bag; although there were plenty of runners who added personal touches to their race attire. Some of us even got a photo with the grinch . So, we had some fun, and again this year were grateful to help support our local Rotary Club and the worthy causes they support.
