Greetings!
We are pleased to share with you that our law firm continues to grow. Our newest attorney, Cindy A. Scolaro, along with her bilingual skills, will help us expand our services into our local Hispanic communities. Be sure to follow us on Facebook as we share a series of videos with Attorney Ron Wittmeyer and our Spanish-speaking Paralegal, Marisela Nevarez.
Each year brings its own changes and 2020 brings some interesting new laws in Illinois. We’re highlighting a handful that we feel are important to know.
As we gear up for another year of community outreach, we are also sharing highlights from the recent holiday season—focusing on the kindness and richness of our community with our One Warm Coat drive, the Rotary Santa Run, and the Northwest Cultural Council art displays hosted at our office.

Santas, Coats, and Artists – Oh My!
Our Holiday Community Wrap-Up
- Rotary Santa Run: The holiday spirit was on full display in Arlington Heights! Team Wittmeyer joined hundreds of Santa-suited runners in the festive 5K event, which has raised over $250,000 to benefit local communities.
- One Warm Coat Drive: Thanks to your support, we delivered 85 coats and jackets to PATH (Palatine Assisting Through Hope) and Journeys | The Road Home. Your generosity warmed many hearts this early winter season.
- Northwest Cultural Council (NWCC): We hosted an artist reception at our office lobby, where visual pieces were created in tribute to poet Mary Oliver. The afternoon included moving poetry readings, offering a rich cultural experience for attendees.
