Even trial lawyers don’t know every judicial candidate on the ballot. That’s why we created this special edition newsletter—a valuable resource to help you make an informed decision when voting for judges in your area.

Most voters know little or nothing about the judicial candidates, which often results in random selections or skipped votes. Unfortunately, this doesn’t ensure that the most qualified candidates are elected.

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) conducts unbiased interviews and evaluations of judicial candidates and makes the results available to voters. The ISBA goes to great lengths to determine whether a candidate is fit for this critical judicial role.

We encourage you to review the ISBA’s judicial screening results before casting your vote this election season.
