Take a Break and Enjoy the Holidays!
The Northwest suburbs provide you with so many options in 2017 to enjoy a winter day with your family and friends. With a quick ride on Metra, you can easily travel into Chicago. Or you can jump in the car and stick around in Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, and the surrounding suburbs.

Activities with Your Kids

MB Financial Park at Rosemont’s Chicago Wolves Ice Rink will host a variety of special guests on Sundays from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. throughout the month of December. Children ages 12 and under are invited to visit the rink early with their family and skate with their favorite characters including Buddy the Elf & Santa (December 3), Belle & The Beast (December 10), Cinderella & The Prince (December 17) and Frozen’s Anna & Kristoff (December 24). See a Play

New Year’s Eve
