As we near the All-Star break, the Chicago Cubs are 23 games above .500 with a solid line-up and pitching staff. A key member of the team is Anthony Rizzo, the two-time All-Star first baseman. Through 70 games, Rizzo has hit 17 home runs, 54 RBIs, and is batting .279. If he maintains this pace, Rizzo will have his best season to date as the Cubs make a run for the pennant! And on Tuesday, July 12, baseball’s best will play San Diego’s Petco Park for the 2016 All-Star Game and based on voting by fans, the Cubs first baseman should be on his way!

In addition to being an All-Star ballplayer, he is also an All-Star person. Anthony Rizzo was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in April 2008 and began the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation in 2012 to benefit cancer research and the families fighting the disease.

To honor his current season and a great athlete in Chicago, the Law Offices of R.F. Wittmeyer, Ltd. will be giving away a Anthony Rizzo home jersey (white with pinstripes) after the All Star break.

Remember that the Law Offices of R.F. Wittmeyer, Ltd. will also continue to do Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks give-aways throughout their seasons. Watch our Facebook page for further Blackhawks give-aways and contests!

Limit 1 entry per person!

Dear Friends and Clients of The Law Offices of R.F Wittmeyer, Ltd.:

We want to assure you that during this time of international emergency due to the COVID-19 virus, our law firm is continuing to serve the needs of our clients and of our community.  Our office remains open for business, but is staffed by just a few of us. To protect the safety of our employees, most of us are working remotely.

The courts, for civil matters, are essentially closed at this point.  Most of the local court systems have issued emergency orders continuing all civil cases for 30 days.  We are using this time to continue to prepare your cases for settlement or trial.

Do not hesitate to call us or email us with your questions or concerns, or if you would like to discuss a new case, as we remain available to address your needs.

We hope that each of you and your families stay safe and healthy during this unprecedented challenge.

Yours Sincerely,

Ronald F. Wittmeyer, Jr.
