In 2015-2016, Ronald Wittmeyer is the President of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. The Northwest Suburban Bar Association is a voluntary organization with more than 650 members, including attorneys, judges and honorary members. Programs conducted by the NWSBA benefit both the legal community and residents of the northwest suburbs through education, philanthropy, and volunteer services.

For attorneys, the NWSBA also provides many live and recorded CLE programs for its members on a wide ranging set of topics, including criminal law, real estate law, employment law, and law firm management.

For residents of the Northwest Suburbs, the NWSBA helps people find a lawyer and operates pro bono legal services for low income citizens .
